A man accidentally brought his loaded .40 caliber gun onto an airplane. He didnt know he had it. Neither did the TSA, who completely missed it during its scan and allowed that plane to fly. Apparently, this happens a lot.Farid Seif, a Houston businessman, usually carries the weapon around for protection. He didnt realize he had kept the glock in his carry-on computer bag until he was mid-flight. Once he landed, he immediately reported the incident and was stunned he was able to get it on board without hassle. That something like this happened should be scary in itself, but authorities tell ABC News says that that sort of incident isnt exactly uncommon:Experts say every year since the September 11 attacks, federal agencies have conducted random, covert tests of airport security.A person briefed on the latest tests tells ABC News the failure rate approaches 70 percent at some major airports. Two weeks ago, TSAs new director said every test gun, bomb part or knife got past screeners at some airports. We put up with the TSA and their foolish methods in the name of security but if theyre not keeping us secure, well shit, why do we put up with it? Heres the news report on the incident:

7 Million People Actually Believe that Facebook Will Become a Pay Site Theres a new Facebook group called “We Will Not Pay To Use Facebook. Need As Many Members Possible To Stop This!.” The members of this group apparently believe that this is true. I would usually brush something like this off, but the group has 2.7 Million members! All of these people apparently think Facebook is on its way to becoming a pay site. The info on this group states that because of Facebooks popularity that Mark Zuckerberg will sell the site, and that the people he sells it to “WILL turn it into a paysite.” How does the creator of this group know for sure that the buyer “WILL” do this? He doesnt. Zuckerberg hasnt sold it so far, and while it is a possibility, there is no way that anyone would expect 200 million users to begin paying for the service. More than 100 million users log on to Facebook at least once a day. Thats an incredible number that would drop significantly if everyone had to begin paying. Theres a business model in the new age of “Social Media,” and it includes providing a free service while making ad revenue
