Bikes are a graceful, efficient mode of transport, but bike helmets, until now, have been awkward and clunky. Luckily Swedish design students Anna and Terese decided to improve the conventional design (and eradicate helmet hair forever) by inventing an invisible helmet. Want to know how it works?

Watch the short and stylish video for a huge surprise when they reveal the goods; I was absolutely floored. On a second viewing, I realized that the helmet had been featured throughout the video, I just hadn’t noticed (it is invisible after all).

I’m sold. Here’s hoping that these enterprising ladies can bring their invention to the US soon.
