French Apple blog Nowhereelse.fr picked up the images on Tuesday morning, which were originally published by DGtle. The photos reportedly depict a model of the iPad mini that was likely made from leaked specifications and intended to help a third-party case manufacturer build and test protective cases for the upcoming smaller iPad. Apple is expected to unveil the iPad mini at a press conference in October.
